In the unity of Godhead there are three persons, The Father, The Son, and The Holy Spirit; equal in every divine perfection, and executing distinct but harmoniously, in the great work of redemption. (Ephesians 2:40-10; Romans 11:6)

Article 5: The Way of Salvation

We believe the scriptures teach that the salvation of sinners is by grace; through Jesus Christ. According to the will of the Father He assumed our nature yet without sin; honored the divine law by His personal obedience, and by His death made a full atonement for our sins. After having risen from the dead. He is now enthroned in heaven. The obligation of all convicted sinners to obtain salvation is to repent, believe in the Gospel, and to walk therein. (Acts 4:12; Romans 10:9-10)

(John 17:19; Ephesians 5:26-27; Romans 15:16 and 1 Peter 1:1-2)

Article 9: Water Baptist of Believers by Immersion Only

We believe the scriptures teach that Christian baptism is the immersion of a believer in Christ, in water, in the name of the Father, and the Son and the Holy Spirit. This shows forth, in a solemn and beautiful symbol, our faith in the crucified, buried, and risen Savior, with its effect, in our death to sin and resurrection to a new life; that it is a prerequisite to the privileges of a church relationship and to the Lord’s Supper. (John 3:22-23; Matthew 3:3-17; 28:19; Acts 2:41; 8:37-39)
