Ephesians 4:3
We, as believers and followers of Christ Jesus may our daily focus be our commitment to Christ Jesus. Acts 17:28 states “For in Him we live, we move, and have our being”. Also Matthew 6:33 tells us to “seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you”. “Behold how good and pleasant it is for brethren to dwell together in unity.” (Psalm 133:1). For we, as a body of Christ, are representatives of Him, who should allow, the Word of God to keep peace and harmony, one with another, as it is in Amos 3:3, “can two walk together except they agree.”
We should always be mindful, to do according to Galatians 6:10, “as we have therefore opportunity, let us do good unto all men, especially unto them, who are of the household of faith”. We are instructed to pray, and as we pray, not only “one for another”, let us be mindful of Proverbs 3:5-6, “trust in the Lord with all thine heart, and lean not unto thine own understanding”. “In all thy ways acknowledge him, and He shall direct thy paths.” Also Psalm 37:23 tells us “The steps of a good man are ordered by the Lord and he delight is in his way.”
As a people, who are committed to and dependent on Christ Jesus, we know “for God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son that whosever believeth in him should not perish but have everlasting life”. (John 3:16) Let us therefore, lay aside everything that hinder us from the instructions found in Psalm 136:1, “O give thanks unto the Lord; for he is good, for His mercy endureth forever”. For He alone is God and according to Revelation 4:11, which clearly states “thou art worthy O Lord, to receive glory, and honor and power, for thou hast created all things, for thy pleasure, they are and were created.
